Still these Divers Watch:-
Late 60s gold-capped Constellation for me, been wearing it all week. Long story behind this one, I got offered it from a house clearance, the watch was water-damaged and in poor condition. Bought it for parts but miraculously the dial and hands were in excellent condition so I decided to restore it. Case isn`t the best example, with significant wear-through on the lugs, but you don't see that when its on the wrist. Took a chance with refinishing the case to get the brushed/ contrast back, approx. 200microns of gold originally so there's a bit to go at. It'll never be a collectors grade watch but it sure wears nicely, I raided my parts stash heavily to get it right but I reckon it was worth it. Shame the original rolled gold bracelet is too far gone, but it is, so the watch is staying on a black strap.....what's not to like?
