Mine's always been on the bracelet but I would think that the weight of the watch head would be very unbalancing (is that even a word?) on a NATO.
Does anyone wear their Deepsea on a nato strap or is it too hefty for one?
Thanks.
David

Try a Rhino, I wore my first Deepsea on one and thought it was a good fit (Grey), as I used to dislike bracelet's. I love bracelets now, how things can change.
Can’t see why not Dave, I have just bought of couple of GasGasBones Spitfire straps for my Panerai, really comfy, well made straps and I think they would take the bulk of the Deepsea nicely.
Too top heavy I would think.
Here is mine on a Nato...........
This was taken in 2014 and it was like wearing it on a piece of string, the watch was far too top heavy and kept trying to escape!!! The solution was either to wear the nato like a tourniquet or revert to the bracelet. I went with the bracelet and have never worn it with anything else since.
I wouldn't wear my SD43 on a nato never mind a DS, too unbalanced, but each to his own.
You must own at least one nato, no better way to find out than give it a try.
You could try something like an Erica's or a Watch Steward strap. I wear my 45mm Planet Ocean on a Watch Steward and it never moves....even throwing the dogs ball😁
Surely a NATO is also just going to add 3mm to an already thick watch?
A CNS ribbed NATO should do the trick they are much firmer, I have used them on my larger watches.
Easy enough to cut and seal the under section if you want it single pass.

I’m sure my Omegas are 1.4mm and Aevig are 1.5mm https://aevig.com/shop/premium-nato/ so going to say 3mm once doubled under the watch head.
