Tomorrow the top 3 are in action. Liverpool should beat Brighton, in the other game I feel City will turn it on and Pep will have a plan. No Walker/Stones for City, Arsenal sweating on Saka/Gabriel/Martinelli.

    2-1 City unfortunately.

My source tells me Saka and Gabriel are definite starters with Martinelli the only doubt due to the cut he has not having healed properly yet.

Ah OK fingers crossed. Stones is a big miss for City as he's so central to how they revert into midfield. Southgate is a tw*t for playing him and Rice in both stupid friendlies.

I agree, what did Rice and Stones have to prove?

United just took Rashford off so now they have 11 on the pitch.

He’ll start at the Euros though. Brentford have murdered these tonight.

So, predictions for tomorrow for City vs. Arsenal?

I’m calling it 2-1 to City.

    Why is it...

That when teams score their players are prepared to literally fight inside the goal in order to retrieve a ball that they then need to hand over to the opposition for the restart?

To say that I can't fathom it would be an understatement.

It’s to signal to their own supporters how they’re not giving up, how much they still want it… even if they’ve only just pulled the score backs to 8-1.

Nervy for Liverpool at the end there but for sure they deserved the win. Suspect they'd be delighted with a draw at the Etihad between City and Arsenal.

I don't think any team will win all their remaining games. Arsenal still have to go to Spurs and United. City have to go to Spurs. Liverpool have to go to United and Villa. Plenty of ups and downs to come and I'd bite your hand off for Arsenal to come back with a point today. City away is the toughest match in world football.

If City win it’s all over for Arsenal for another season.

I cannot see City and Liverpool both dropping points to let them back in.

I don’t see City winning both the PL and CL. I think RM will beat them over two legs this time out.

Man this is boring. Listening on 5 live with Schmeichel droning on doesn't help.

I'll take the point. Our defence was incredible, City were never going to score. We could have nicked one on the break.

Bit difficult when the ref lets blatant yellow card fouls go (on both sides) so when an attack starts the opponent can foul with impunity. Both sides resorted to defending like peak Atletico today. In any case we had more shots on target than City!

Arsenal have 8 points from 4 games against City and Liverpool (won both at home, drew both away) so I hope people realise this Arsenal side is the real deal.

If Liverpool win all their matches they win the league and if so, fair play to them. If they don't it leaves the door open.

  27. #4977
Surely a shoo in for Liverpool. A relatively easy run in, can't see them dropping any points now.

Going to Old Trafford and Villa Park isn't a shoo in. All 3 sides will drop points. Arsenal are a Liverpool draw away from going top courtesy of our goal difference. Liverpool are at home to Sheff Utd next so I suspect it won't be that game though!

Arsenal also know if they get City in the CL semi finals then we can do them over 2 legs, City have managed 2 shots on target in 2 games against us this season.

I think Haaland mixed up the ko time.

He’s probably there now waiting for the match to start, he sure wasn’t playing during the match so can only assume this is the issue .

Probably the same stuff Waistcoat is smoking to think Maguire is England's best CB!

Yes but they also were before their game vs City.

I'd have taken a point before the game, it's our toughest game, nothing is decided today. Arsenal home to Luton and Liverpool home to Sheff Utd and I suspect both teams will be trying to boost their goal difference as it could come down to that.

Fair play to Arsenal I’ve wrote them off from the start of the season and they are still there.

Can’t see any of them not dropping points until the end of the season so it’s anyone’s title.

I don't underestimate them at all. But I'd like to think this season we've shown we can compete with them- we've taken 4 points out of 6 against them, just like we have vs Liverpool.

The 1 point out of 6 vs Fulham is really hurting us now though!

EPL is the one to watch right now, has been all season really. Brilliant. Entertaining. Attractive. The way the sport should be. Love watching it.

    Up here?

We have a nonsense league where a right back breaks scoring records, granted the majority are pens which the team get every game such is the way the game has a certain bias up here. He has in effect 30 goal opportunities given to him, if playing, per season. Not bad huh?

The other lot, cos there are only two teams in Scotland, have simply lost their way under BR. What a seismic change. No one could keep even close last season. Now tho it’s all change to lost confidence and weak football. Boring really.

Exciting? Not in your wildest dreams. Same old same old. And next season we will again be embarrassed at EU level.

Keep enjoying the EPL it’s the best out there!!

Don’t see us getting anything tonight other than beating our record for the most amount of games without a win.

Chris Sutton predicts 1-2. I think the guy has been sniffing too much glue.

At least we don’t have to face Gordon, whose second yellow was almost intentional. Why would you kick the ball away in the last few minutes knowing it will get you sent off. I hope he had put a few quid on that outcome beforehand.

Gueye is back, the worst player to wear an Everton shirt in the last 50 years and Beto up front on his own, so the fans in Row Z better beware.

Paging Dave, an easy 3 points for you tonight.

You just never know Ken. Have you seen the team we've got out tonight? And we've let the worst strikers in the EPL score against us this season; Wood, Beto, Mudryk and Jackson!

    Players missing tonight:

    Pope
    Trippier
    Botman
    Lacelles
    Joelinton
    Tonali
    Gordon
    Wilson
    Livramento
    Myley
    Almiron

That's a pretty decent EPL team all out.

Quite right, you don’t need 9 ringers from the pub, my 88 year old Mum would give these a game along with those old blokes who do walking football.

    Beto is shit.

    At the moment we're missing:

    Cash
    Mings
    Ramsey
    Kamara
    Buendia
    Watkins
    McGinn

Can't see our trip to Man City tomorrow night being anything other than the usual dry humping we usually receive up there.

Yes, and Duran is going to give them hell tomorrow. It's worth putting a bet on either him or Rogers being sent off before the first half is over.

One of those games. Credit to Dyche for making positive changes and you can never account for a player giving away an idiotic penalty. Dummett has cost us two points when there was no immediate threat.
