    Cyma pocket watch info appreciated

    Cyma pocket watch

I saw this in a antique shop today,I was tempted but feel I don't know enough (anything) about them.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The GSTP stands for General Service Time Piece Army issued from 1939-1945 various brands had this mark like Omega, Helvetia, CYMA and others. Price looks about right, but I always try to get a better price worth asking what the stores best price is.

I've just checked and apparently I've got 14 including both white and black dial Cyma & JLC . £95 sounds OK if it's working. I think they were issued earlier than 1939 though that may be reading too much into the source below which mentions 1936-37.

There really is not a lot of data out there on these.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
