Thread: Sinn 103 Herbert Mayer value?

    Sinn 103 Herbert Mayer value?

What do we think a full set watch in great condition might be worth?

    Only 50 made.

Someone is inviting me to make an offer on one and I’m not sure where to pitch it.

I really like it! Not that different to the standard hesalite version apart from the hands and the faux tuna. 2-2.5k should do it

Apparently the “seller” paid 8k Euros.

I like them, but not that much. Not even close.

Ye gods! Walk away. Rapidly... Assuming their claim has any truth in it, they were obviously richer than it is healthy to be, or demented. In either case they will have a wholly unrealistic expectation of its value. It's a jeweller's special, no change to the underlying quality of the watch, all changes were aesthetic. Apparently it cost less than £100 more than a standard 103 when they were new, and the standard ones fetch between £900 and £1,300 on here usually, depending on condition.
