I love these! I'm really keen to see the new colors versions - especially the yellow (https://www.ablogtowatch.com/hands-o...tyle-for-2023/).

I am in two minds about it. I have the plastic version which is a pretty basic watch to be honest, I would expect this to be a step up. Is quality inline with other Marathon watches?
Yes, seconded. I had the plastic version too, but it was like something out of a Xmas cracker.

New arrival this week, from when (in my opinion) Breitling were at the top of their game. Proper tool watch rather than a blingtastic rapper’s wrist bauble.

Been a busy morning at work, originally took a photo at 8.20 but had to retake just now as it's the first chance I had to post.

Worn this all week, lovely bit of Omega vintage, restored to working order by keitht of this very forum.

Have a safe BH weekend all.

    A few days in Bavaria.

Today, lunch at the Andechs Monastery.

What better than a Sinn to keep time while I'm here.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?

It's been a good while since I've handled a SAR of any kind but this feels good. Feels better than I remember the original steel nav feeling when I had one years ago.

Solid and well made. Slim, light and comfy. Movement should be good for 10 spy so we'll see how that goes.

It feels far more than twice the watch the plastic navigators are at approx twice their price.

It's overpriced probably but then most things are (the plastic ones certainly are now at £350+).

I'd put the quality right with the CWC quartz divers and it costs roughly the same so.....

I've always liked the Benrus type 1 & 2 case shape etc and missed the last steel navigator I sold. I like quartz and tritium so it wasn't too hard a decision.

If I was making changes: No date and fixed bars and I'd be very happy. Oh and the original marathon black nylon strap is nasty but easily replaced with one of the seemingly hundreds of natos I've amassed

Is 'infatuation' too strong a word...? I mean, I didn't expect it - "Let's try one of these!", I thought...

But my DamaskoDC56 is now sold, and here we, are once again...

Have a beautiful long-weekend, however you apply it
