PSA Costco Citizen Promaster Tough BN0118-55E

Costco is stocking the Citizen Promaster Tough BN0118-55E for £215.98 inc VAT.

Seems a good deal Vs RRP of £399 even with the usual discounts.

The date is really small on these watches and is difficult to read.

They really shouldn’t have a date window as it’s virtually unreadable.

Seconds hand hits all the markers though and even more accurate than described. Great watches.

I’d take this over a moonswatch any day of the week.

Paid for two in case anyone wanted one but they only had one in stock so I had to wait for a refund.

Even has glide lock on the clasp.

Great pick up. I must admit if it had been in front of me I would have bought it.

Seen these in our display case for a few weeks and have been tempted, might check how many we have on the system.

Very nice, and for very little money. But, my bet is that it will be on SC before the end of May.

Very likely but also not worth the effort

    Nice pick-up W.
Titanium and 300 WR at that pricepoint. Can't go wrong really.
Even if it is rattly! (I am guessing it is!)

That was Costco Chingford. Item number is 883084 so you might be able to call ahead.

Great deal, I'm not a Costco member or I'd go searching.

If anyone changes their mind on one, let me know

There are 4 left in costco stores, 1 in farnborough, Hayes and I believe Thurrock, can't remember the other one. Will check tomorrow.

Can't go wrong with these certainly at this low price.

But, I always compare them to the original made in Japan versions which were of far better built quality.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

On the downside the clasp is a nightmare but probably only if you have fat wrists. Finding it impossible to get a comfortable fit as this bit constantly digs in. Probably meant for smaller or more curved wrists. Shame.

I see what you mean. Would it help to extend the clasp slider out (making it too big) then remove links to reduce it back to a better fit? The canvas strap that comes as an alternative with these is brilliant, one of the best I've used. Expensive though.

I’ve tried that and even added and moved a link, no luck.

I put it on a rubber Scrufa strap and it looks good but wears a bit smaller without the bracelet to beef it up and I prefer bracelets in general.

If anyone wants it let me know otherwise I’ll throw it in a drawer.

I'd planned to go to Costco this week and was pleased to see one of these still for sale. Life seemed too short to waste it adjusting the bracelet, I can't be doing with pin and collar affairs so I popped it off and onto a Barton rubber.

Very pleased with it so far. Thanks for the tip off.
