A sad 'Dayo' indeed.
He had a good innings though, bless him.
Daylight come and I wanna go home.
A sad 'Dayo' indeed.
He had a good innings though, bless him.
In 2004, I was in Dresden on a city trip, just walking through the Zwinger garden when I suddenly ran into Udo Lindenberg. A minute later, Harry Belafonte and Nana Mouskouri appeared. Of all the people on the planet he was probably the last person I expected on a Saturday afternoon in Dresden. I was completely speechless, which doesn't happen very often. He walked by, noticed my perplexion and said "Guten Tag".
A little later I saw him again in the midst of a crowd, apparently there was a wedding by some music industry guy that he attended.
That's when I met Harry and Nana.
