    Holiday watch.

Having been through countless watches described as a "holiday watch", from cw to breitling (at least 4), to citizen i think ive found the one!
The g shock casioak no less.
As many time zones as you could want, day date month, alarm, ,good lume, light, slim ,well fitted strap and bullet proof.
I suppose these days not being something to be mugged for completes the list for me.

Obviously i will be flipping after next holiday.....

The perfect rough and tumble watch.

So why is it obvious that you'd flip it after your holiday. Won't you have future holidays too?

My hols are always motorbike trips, so need a fairly low profile watch to fit under sleeve/glove.

'till now - I have used my Aevig field watch (Quartz) with a webbing strap - works well with no pressure on my wrist.

Wearing a Casioak would ruin my holiday.

I had one for a couple of days before returning it for a refund from Casio.

Far from the worst G-Shock I've seen, but it's still an ugly lump of plastic, IMO.

I usually just wear a diver, often my Dreadnought Voyager.

I got my Divex for a holiday before Covid, so I shall be digging out as I haven't worn it yet! Soon!

This is my holiday watch. Bought after I realised a freshly serviced 14270 and a stoney beach in France wasn’t a brilliant idea.

    My go to holiday watch
It would probably be the last watch I part with due to the memories attached.

My go to holiday watch. Just take a few NATO's for a bit of variety.

I’m headed to Egypt in May and am torn on whether to take my Seiko Samurai or Black Bay Pro. Lots of swimming and snorkelling planned and both can handle that easily but they Pro is smarter for evenings and what not. Only thing putting me off is the possibility of the Pro taking a few too many knocks. Not too worried about theft.

Barcelona next for a few days and I’m taking the moonswatch. Definitely not wearing anything of value over there!

I took my Clemence Photic trekking in Peru. 200m water resistance, diver's extension on bracelet and came with spare rubber strap and a strap tool.

I wear my SMP 300 quartz when on holiday. It seems to cover all bases for me.

Last few holidays it’s been the PRS18Q for me. The COSC version.
Might take the Mission Timer next time.

I think the perfect holiday watch needs to be suitable for wearing to dinner as well as the beach, that's why I moved from a G-shock to an Oceanus.

Highly recognisable, worth a couple of hundred quid. What could possibly go wrong?

Mine certainly is and it's well over 10 years old now and has seen a couple of hundred dives.
