    Arrived today.

Popped a nice strap on it and straight on the wrist. Love it.

So today is the 30 something anniversary of my 21st birthday and my darling wife has gifted me this…

A PAM321 my first Panerai. It’s rather a departure for me from my usual fare of Ulysse Nardin and Breitling and I have to say I’m enjoying it.
Very much looking forward to going bankrupt from the strap habit I’m on the verge of forming.
    HAGWE everyone.

Whenever I see this watch of yours, it truly represents everything that is important about this hobby. Your story, the stories it tells from your service. And I remember that picture you posted when you were wearing it in Vietnam...incredible. Worth way more imo than far more 'expensive' watches. Whoever ends up inheriting this will be an incredibly lucky person. Hope you are doing well.

Thank you, I’ve always been a fan of the 1000m Tuna but a bit anxious about DLC coating so when this version appeared at an AD for a bargain I thought I would give it a go.

Love this...have a 183, 251 and 504 myself. Maybe a couple too many shandies and tiredness/being thick tonight, but the GMT function? Sub-dial on LHS?

It’s a 12hr gmt, traveller type with hour jump on local time / main hand. As I’m currently at home the gmt hand is hiding under the hour hand.

Slightly unusual variant on the GMT function then...thanks for the info.
Was wearing this one today I bought from watches.co.uk last June/July......surely miles cheaper now!

Sandwiched between the Bond and the new wave, I think this model is under appreciated.

I’ve not worn mine for around four years (proving my own point), but I must give it a runout one of these days.

That was quick.. Did you already have those in the pipe line? You won’t be disappointed. What watches are you going to put on them?

I agree the 2012-2018 Seamaster 300m is under appreciated. I have the latest version with the white wavy dial and wanted something a little different as a complimentary blue option, I really like the clean lines and glossy dial and more muted numerals on the bezel insert.

Actually I didn’t know of him.
I got in touch with him after you posted.
And seems he started right away even before I paid him.
Sounds like a great guy to work with.
