Pics and review when it arrives please ?
I can just about see myself wearing that.

Makes you wonder how they can possibly do it for that kind of money.

Will be interested to see what it really looks like.

The images are small or renders.

I can't help thinking that the appeal of a tourbillion is its exoticness.

Take that away (as this does) and it's just a rather pointless complication (in both senses of that word).

It doesn't mean I won't buy one if it looks good though

Wondering why people with no interest in watches are on a watch forum?

I bet that open heart balance will start rotating if you drink enough.
They do make real ones too though: https://www.seagullwatchcompany.com/...nical-movement

I know this watch has definite limitations but the price makes a total mockery of the absurdly overpriced tourbillion models some manufacturers knock out!

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the full advert?
It’s a business watch - so essential for tying shoes, drinking a cream brûlée or having a shave.
It’s a fashion watch - so essential for a white tie event or sitting on a beach in a suit whilst wearing a jumper.
Lastly it’s a true Seagull movement stamped with the ETA logo.
Finally a watch for every man.

It’s should be noted the balance is in a different position in the pictures showing the dial side and the display case back.

    Why Chinese things are cheap:

    1. Very few civil or human rights.
    2. Low pay.
    3. No holidays, loooong hours, no sick leave, inhuman working conditions for many.
    4. Child labour force.
    5. Slave labour force. Sorry. "Re-education Camps"...
    6. Negligible health & safety regulations.
    7. Ignore foreign patents, copyrights, trademarks, &c = negligible R&D costs.
    8. Indifferent materials qualities, barely adequate tolerancing, and haphazard assembly.
    9. Just lie about and exaggerate everything. No-one's checking. No-one's enforcing.
    10. QA? Let the customer do that! THEY have no consumer rights. AliExpress DGAF!
    11. Tax? What's that?
    12. Pollution? Environmental standards? What are those?
    13. Loss leaders - undercut the whole World and just wait for their businesses to die...
    14. World's biggest domestic market = huge economies of scale.
    15. Just fake it - let other people blow £$£$£$£$£$'s on advertising!

    . . . &c, &c, &c, &c . . .

It isn't, the balance cage does not rotate around an axis, the decorative piece atop of it spins, that's it. This is how this is supposed to work:
    https://youtu.be/abVqj2OE3po?t=33
(Also the movement is not the same)

    This ^^^

It's just a standard movement with a spinny thing over the balance to imitate a tourbillion.

Notice the jewel at 10 o'clock - that's for the pallet fork pivot and if it was a real tourbillion it would be rotating but isn't. Just like every movement that's not a tourbillion.

Need to spend about 3x as much for an actual Tourbillon.

    I’m actually tempted by that.

I agree not a bad looking thing - even in the actual review pictures.

Very Moser-esq, I reckon if it was actually made by Moser it would get a fair bit of internet coverage
