The milgauss is a bit redundant, most watches have a good rating now, even Tudor have metas (high gauss rating part of the test).

    2023 Rolex predictions

Also did any one notice the shade of green on the sub bezel has reportedly been updated according to some reviews. If that’s true it will be flat 4 all over again

I get that, for me the Milgauss was just that bit different style wise. Although still a Rolex it was very left field for them at the time with the blue colour and lightning bolt second hand.

The new titanium YM would turn my eye though for sure

I agree the YM is a bit different.

Edited to add, I would have thought the deepsea would have been better suited to go titanium over the yachtmaster.

I read that too. Likely it is nonsense though.
It is accepted Pepsi bezels have changed but the LV looks the same to me.

Think it was Adrian Bark and Jack who mentioned this?

Apparently it has been updated and is a shade lighter. People at W&W who ask are told it’s a rolex Easter egg

No different than changing the bezel colour on the BLRO which they’ve done about 5 times but shame it’s lighter and not darker.

If they’ve changed it to make it lighter rather than darker that really is nuts.

Anyone not feeling the new shade on the LV I’ll happily take your allocation

I disagree. If it’s lighter like the 40th Anniversary that’s a nice heritage thing I reckon.

I agree with your disagreement. Lighter green will be nicer. I saw a guy wearing an original Kermit recently. The light green bezel really popped. Am tempted to ask to go on the list for a post May 23 LV.

Can anyone find the SS Pepsi on the Rolex website? It is so flakey it crashes when I try to configure a GMT. Could the SS Pepsi have been discontinued?

Oh bugger, it just goes to the gmt master generic page. But the Pepsi is definitely there in the configurator

I get that. But the current bezel is a weird pastel colour which I’m not a huge fan of personally. If it’s lighter and not the pastel colour that could be different but dark would have looked better and more wearable IMO. Regardless of the nod to the older one. But what do I know…Rolex will dictate fashion definitely not me!

Can you check the suffix on the white hang tag on your model?
If that says 001 then yes I believe it too.

    Edit:
Here’s one which was for sale and shows the hang tag stating 002. Hence the 002 thing is quite possibly a big red herring.

Another member on here also highlighted his 002 code.

According to my AD, 001 is black bezel and 002 is green bezel.

Got it. Seems odd that It'd be used for both bracelet ID and also MK ID, but it would seem so.

There's a big debate on TRF about it... ... Actually there's a big debate about everything and anything on TRF.

The AD has just sent me a photo of mine.

She states it's the newer one, but to me it looks exactly like the previous... but the tag sohws 0002

Not bothered either way, but it does make me wonder if it's all just tosh.

Can't collect it until July so no way of actually knowing for certain yet.

Gash quality pic, but you get the idea

I’d be itching to get my hands on that asap! Is it the AD holding off until July?

No, it’s in the ADs safe waiting for me to go and collect it. It’s already paid for in full.

I’m not due back into the UK until the start of July.

I enquired on 22nd March and it arrived on 12th April.

Ah makes sense, was wondering if they might have been making you wait so they could use it as a display piece, in the safe is better!

That’s a rapid turnaround, thought these green ones were super hard to get. Either you have a great AD or it’s a sign of the times! Maybe both.

I have a great AD that’s for sure.

As for sign of the times. I’m not sure what that actually means.
Have Rolex upped their capacities? Are they producing more sports watches?
Or is it just that the AD knew I would pay in full up front, so I went to the top of the line?

I think most of us would pay up front if we had a guaranteed delivery slot. All AD’s are different and require different spend criteria, a lot bundle with jewellery to the grey market value of the watch.

Picked my LV up on Friday. It is distinctly different to the mark 1 bezel I feel and definitely a different hue of green. Jon Kenney, yours looks like a MK1 in that pic but it may just be the lighting. Some pics of mine below in different lighting...

Tried one on yesterday, and now have a note of interest placed.

I also placed an interest for the lefty GMT. The AD mentioned that they have been told by Rolex that they are planning to cut back on the number of GMTs being produced due to the complexity of making the two tone ceramic bezel. Not sure how accurate that is, but it’s what they told me.

Thanks for the photos. It hasn’t helped a bit though as there looks to be four different bezel colours in your post :-)
