There have already been 2 price rises since October both about 4-5 %. A watch I was looking at was £5400 in October, it went up to £5750 and then £5950. So that’s crazy if prices are going up again.
Just had it confirmed in the Bond Street boutique that Cartier prices are going up again beginning of April in the region of 5-7% on watches and jewellery. Prices rise in Feb was only currency driven adjustment!
Cartier Santos that I had been considering goes up from £7.3k to £7.7k, seems a lot of money.

Think I'm going to have to put my prices up by a similar amount to compensate...
On Goldsmiths, Santos medium went from £6150 a few months ago to £6400, and today to £6750.
Don't think you need to pay rrp for a Santos. Must be some pre owned ones out there
Does anyone actually believe that a currency adjustment is the reason for a price rise? I don’t think I have ever heard of a watch price going down 5-7% because of a currency adjustment.
This is true. I was in a boutique buying some jewellery the day before it had a price increase
Hmmn! All these price rises..
When I put my Cartier Ronde Solo in the sales corner, (last Autumn) all I got offered was trades for it!

Just made them more expensive to buy Breitling gone up as well and tag Heuer went up a week or so.

I think they'll price them selfs out in certain models in this current climate or even push more people to pre owned
