If that article doesn’t prove that money doesn’t buy good taste, then I don’t know what would.
‘Surprised’ (in a good way!) to see so many Omegas, Brendan’s speedmaster chronoscope looked awesome!

Crocs at the Oscars, fantastic.
The Rolex green room looked sh1t - no pieces on display there either, from the looks of it.

"Look at us, aren't we wonderful?"
No.
Most of those look really crap LOL.
Apart from Jay Ellis - that elegant Tank on him looks perfect. Most of the watches on display are too big for dress wear imo ...

I find watch spotting and the choices people make with unlimited money interesting but I couldn't care less about what a brand ambassador wears.
That Tag on The Rock looks like a 5p piece with the size of his wrists.
That's what made the article interesting for me. You'd think that the kid from Temple of Doom would be wearing his own watch, but no it looks like Omega got to him.
Only a couple of them seemed to be wearing something not sponsored, but then maybe the people wearing their own watches didn't make it into the Hodinkee article?
A lot of those omegas look brand new, like they've been paid to wear them.
Rock usually wears a root beer or panerai so thats weird!
Michelle Yeoh is a RM brand ambassador so no shock there.
People still watch the Oscar’s!
