Great to see you here again Dave. Sorry about all you problems but good to hear you've kicked the watch problem into touch.
Hello all,
Just a check in (and apology) as I haven't been particularly active for the last year or two.
The main reason for this is that, despite Eddie's kind efforts, I'm still having trouble logging on with an Apple device - which I use all the time. I've got a dusty Windows machine that gets used about once every six months that can access the forum.
I also lost my old man in Sep 21 and that has made me reassess a lot of things in life, personal belongings (watches) being one of them.
However, I do miss connecting with the nice people of this forum so have made a resolution to log on at least once a week to see what's going on.
I'm still hawking the TakeTime watch around and thanks to a few very kind members, it's still enjoying a travelled lifestyle. Other than that, I'm kind of done with watches!
I'm trying to subscribe to the Three and a G set up that I saw on here once. If I go a full year of just using those four watches, the rest are getting sold. My three are - 1803 (although I will likely update this to a newer version - still gold baton dial though), the BLNR and my WWW Cyma. For the G shock side of things, I've taken some artistic license and have picked up an Apple Watch Ultra. I'm a solid three months in now and so far haven't felt the need to go to the bank to swap anything over. Maybe I'm cured of this madness?!
Anyway, apologies once again for the lack of input into the forum, bad form on my part.
Interested to hear what you've all been up to...
Dave

Good to hear from you again Dave; I was wondering.
Sorry to hear of your loss, it does shake one up even though you know it's going to happen one day.
If you fancy a bit of watch-related nonsense, PM me for the link to our TZUK monthly Zoom meeting on the last Thursday of each month.
Dave,
Good to see you back here again. Very sorry to hear about your Dad. Mine was unwell recently but thankfully seems to be on the up now. But he’s in his 80’s, so it’s never far from my mind sadly.
All the best,
Ben
Nice to see ya Dave!
I lost my mum last year - condolences pal. Bit of a shake up collection wise for me - Ultra has a slot also.
Did the kitchen get finally finished?

Hi Dave sorry to hear about your Dad.
Nice to see you here again.
If you can kick the watch sickness there is hope for us all
Cheers!
Hi Dave,
Not bad thanks, still plugging away. Might be plotting my escape back home to Devon in a year or so. Have to see with work but that’s the plan.
Nice to hear from you Dave. The three watch plan plus 1 seems doable and I hope you can stick with it. Sorry to hear about your dad. It certainly makes you prioritise things
Hi Dave, sorry to hear about your dad.
Good to have you back on here and hope you and the family are well.
Been a while since we last spoke but you had a continental GT back then, have you still got it?
Either way how did you find owning one ?
I’ve been dating a lady from Harrow for a couple of years now so I’m around your way every couple of weeks, will give you a shout and see if we can arrange a beer.
Sorry to hear about your father.
What trouble are you having with your Apple product? Which one?
Didn't have any trouble with my ipad. Found my wifi and asked for password. Once I went to the forum. I signed in
Never tried on my phone. Very rarely check forums on it
Hi Dave,
I do get my Dave 'fix' on Facebook, but good to see you back here too!
Keep on enjoying driving your Dad's beautiful motor, what a lovely momento of his life.
