Yes. Never really truly bonded with the Military which was a shame as on paper it was everything I wanted. May just have been the DLC case as I struggled to find a strap combination I was comfortable with, but first impressions with the Poseidon are favourable.
A departure from the ubiquitous orange handset helps, and is a welcome distraction. I did worry there would be too much going on dial wise, but it’s actually not too bad on the wrist. Plan was always to add a modern Doxa Aqualung but on reflection, I think this offering scratches that itch and at a fraction of the price.

I was tempted but figured it would be too close to the Military which is an absolute favourite of mine. (Just wound and set it for tomorrow)
I like that these offer great aesthetics in a cheaper but everyday usable case. As you say they scratch the Doxa itch.

Like that a lot - some great detailing and thought given to it - the contrasting date disc works well for me, the applied indices, hand-tips in black - very nice. A lot of watch for the money and one of only 23!
