Just received my PRS-25EXP and something weird happened...

I received my new PRS-25EXP and immediately sizing the bracelet. After sizing the bracelet, I began to set the time. The seconds hand was not moving when I received it for obvious reasons, but the seconds hand was moving by the time I wanted to set the watch due to the watch being moved around while sizing.

To my surprise - the time was exact, to the minute (not to the second) of my current time! What are the chances of it being exactly the right time right when I wanted to set the watch? Personally I would have preferred to win the lotto, but this is pretty cool too.

    Correct hour (1 in 12) x correct minute (1 in 60)

Not quite as high as it seems it should be but a nice moment!

Funnily enough about a week ago I had a similar experience with my PRS-29A. Extricated it from a drawer at 11:30 one morning, to find it had stopped at 11:31 - probably about 10 days earlier.

Watches so accurate the movements keep time even after the power reserve expires

I can’t help but think the probability should be considered.

Although 2 opportunities for each number 1-12 in a day, was the watch in the possession and process for the full 24 hrs and were you awake and tinkering for the full period or should the time you were not observing be eliminated?

Maybe go the quantum route and consider it always was set to the correct time.

Sorry, Ive not been caffeinated yet.

    This is fully intentional.

I set the time calculating wind speed, magnetic fields, forcasted solar flairs and UPS delays.
