Watch the clip with George Martin and Cilla black working on Alfie you could see he was a perfectionist, great composer loved his work RIP.

Watched or started to watch Bacharach: A Life in Song last night, ‘interviewed’ by Michael Grade. So bad i knocked it on the head after 20 minutes.
Recorded in 2015 and hard to think that they couldn’t have come up with a more fitting tribute to the man in the years since.
Every song he wrote is a tribute. Astounding canon of songs. He had the looks and lifestyle as well.
