What Timefacotrs are in your collection?

This forum seems to have a few posts recently about frustrations about not being able to catch the order window, so lets turn that around a bit!
What Timefactors pieces do you have in your collection? Thoughts on them? Cool photos? Share it all here!

    Guess I'll go first!

    I have a PRS-25, PRS-48 and PRS-29am currently, photos below!
The PRS-25 was my first, and probably my most worn, but the PRS-48 really is a thing of beauty. The case design just elevates it somewhat.
PRS-29am is great for afternoons out but do miss the lume on it if I'm wearing it all day (especially at this time of year!)

I apologise for the god awful photos, I have no idea how people do photography with something that reflects so much bloody light

    Only a PRS 5 now
At one point the collection consisted of the 5, the 18a, the 82 and a 55
I should get around to re-listing the 5 on SC at some point as it is never worn.
I thought both the 55 and the 82 were exceptional watches for the money.
The 18a had some of the best lume I have ever seen on a watch.

Still have an 18A, the one that I originally wanted from the line up though it was out of stock at the time, so I settled for a PRS3 which eventually was sold on to someone here. I can't remember when I last wore the 18 A though... tastes change with time. Did have one of the early 40 mm Everests, wish I'd kept it now. Tried a PRS10 for a while, but sold that on as a bit too small for me.

Currently have one of the Transglobals, a cream dial, lovely thing which is the current favourite.

Know the Black Shadow is PRS-38, not sure on the Carmania - but that's a hell of a watch even if it is a bit too dressy for me.

How do you find the Black Shadow? I keep bouncing backwards and forwards on it, think it may be the contrast of the high polished bezel

PRS-18A is a thing of beauty. Can see why the PRS-3 might not have scratched that itch. Do you know how it holds up to the CWC divers? (obviously at a fraction of the cost if you get it for retail)

Never been a fan of the cushion cases but the old Mellor dials are lovely to look at too

Cream Transglobal was definitely the best of the bunch. Will be keeping an eye out for one of them for sure

Sorry I've never handled a CWC diver so can't really say.

No worries! Just very similar aesthetically at nearly 10x the price, so wondered if you could comment

I used to think the CWC was a superior watch and I still do but with their recent price hikes I no longer think they offer real value.
If the ‘issued thing’ is not important then track down a PRS3 or Zeno. Or if you want to go for the full Magnum PI look the new Momentum Sea Quartz https://momentumwatch.com/collection...-30-42mm-black looks to be a good shout.
The Monnin cases were used by 96 different watch manufacturers (at the most recent count) in the 70s/80s so there are plenty of options out there.

I have a few, all bought second hand though.

PPS 17Q - Very comfortable, reliable and tough, worn often on site, great underrated watch imo
PRS 18A - Sinnlovers ex watch (thanks John), built like a tank and can take chunks out of door jambs. Very accurate and a great watch, gets occasional wear.
Broadarrow PRS3 - I have an issued CWC RN300 and I would say this is it's equal. Gets occasional wear.
PRS82, number 14, just a great version of an original I could never afford. Gets occasional wear.

I have a Caribbean and a PRS-36. Both are worn regularly. I'd really like a current-gen cream dial Everest to complete things, so to say.

    Currently have nine:
    PRS-1
    PRS-12
    PRS-29AM
    3 x PRS-28 (yes I know)
    PRS-55 Yellow/Blue
    PRS-36
    PRS-50 LE

    Let go of nine:
    PRS-17-C
    2 x PRS-22
    PRS-29A
    2 x PRS-25
    PRS-32 White
    PRS-82
    PRS-50

Think I'll always have a Speedbird in the collection, the original with no date is my preference having had a few. The 1903 is also lovely.

I seem to be developing a strange little obsession for the tropical acrylic version, despite having tried on the case in Exped format and deciding it was too small and initially not being a fan of the name smack on the dial as it is. I don't think there's going to be any more of the model made???? They don´t seem to come up for sale often, if at all.

Shit that’s quite the collection! Do love the idea of a speedbird. Would probably go for a baby but not a massive fan of the date

The Carmania is as dressy a watch as I can pull off.
The Black Shadow is a great looking watch - I put it on a black leather strap with red stitching.

I have a 3-photo 'tribute' in the cloakroom..............................

Just the Air Ministry for me, with upgraded crystal.

    Vintage charm with modern practicality.

The blued hands are a delight and it runs beautifully.

Leather strap for something more formal, nato for casual.

Eddie’s best watch in my humble opinion.

Not sure on more, but it's such a cool watch, the 369 push out transformed it. Wears well on the bracelet or leather and suits any occasion. I honestly think it's the best piece TF have made to date.

I've had a few over the years.

    I've still got a PRS20 LE, a PRS20 FL (a particular favourite) & a PRS50 LE.

Off the top of my head, I've had -

    2 x PRS3 LE (blue & black).
    PRS4.
    PRS9.
PRS11 DN (effectively a LE, only 25 made).
    PRS14.
    PRS18A.
    PRS50B LE.

    There may have been others...

Since I discovered TF last year, I bought:

    -Precista PRS-10, new at TF;
    -Smiths PRS-29A, used market NLD;
-Smiths Navigator PRS-48, new at TF:
    -Smiths Everest PRS-25 EXP new at TF;
    -Smiths PRS-60 Commander new at TF;
-Smiths Everest PRS-25, used market NLD.

-a second Precista PRS-10 I bought used and gave it to a Dutch friend of mine who loves the UK and was never into watches(now he is a bit), but likes the story behind his PRS-10 now.

TF-watches are hard to find at the used market in The Netherlands. Often they do not sell very fast, TF-watches are not as well known here, compared with the UK, of course.

    Have a few myself
    PRS10, 29a, 29AM, 18cosc, 62, 25exp, 48white and a 60

Had, and never should of parted with a 17c.

DOH, and of course the baby dread that I'm wearing at the moment on the owned list.

I've had a few but none currently.

    PRS-4
    PRS-10
    PRS-18q
    PRS-25
    PRS-25EXP

I'm always tempted by a Speedbird and the possible WWW homage is attractive

PRS-25 (36mm - the original SMITHS capitals logo)
PRS-25W (first gen, with Boobies logo, no "De Luxe")
    PRS-29A (ETA)

Recently sold my Everest Expedition, which I never really took to ... despite it being a fine watch.

Hoping the Speedbird Quartz GMT and the Precista G10 Quartz get re-stocked, as I'm on a Quartz trip at the moment.

The PRS-25 is definitely a keeper. On the fence with the other two currently ...

    PRS1 Speedbird is a keeper.

I’ve had an Everest (lovely watch) and I’d like to try an Air Ministry. Oh and a Navigator. Perhaps also a Monopusher (in black and one in cream).

As others have said - these watches offer excellent quality/value and are not ostentatious.

    Currently, just the one:

I’ve had the 17C too, that was a marvellous little watch. Really regret letting it go.

Over the years via Eddies website, Sales Corner and eBay I have picked up quite a few:

    PRS1, PRS2, PRS5, PRS6, PRS10, PRS12, PRS18Q, PRS21. PRS22, PRS22GMTQ, PRS25EXP, PRS45, PRS48, PRS52, PRS53, PRS57 and PRS82

They are the vast majority of my watch collection.

My favourite is either the PRS22 or the PRS53

I’ll put a group photo together at the weekend.

    Pete
