I’ve seen a few mods on instagram,there was a rose gold yacht master the other day,to be fair I don’t think I’ve seen any horrors.

I bought the rose-gold Seiko 5 and put the yacht master bezel in it for my son.
Even comes on an almost Oyster-Flex style rubber.

I have been in touch with a UK modder who has quoted approx £550 all in for the watch.
Does this sound about right?

Sounds fair. Price of original watch plus thicker sapphire crystal to accommodate the sloping bezel insert, cost of ceramic insert, cost of hands and time involved. Tempuswatchmods is my favourite chap for this kind of thing.
