    What the heck

I love rugby and the six nations more than most but who buys this level of tat?

Don't the French or Italians wear watches?

I’d like to see the players wearing those during a match. I wonder how many of those fine, rather blingy timepieces would survive a scrum or a hard tackle!
Never really understood the watch tie-in with sports where the only timing device needed is on the refs wrist??!!

I was going to say “they do but have taste”
But then remembered that’s the sort of comment that comes back with a sucker punch.

I like where Breitling have been heading recently but not a fan of these, nor the Chronomat line in general. It's a design that looks like it should have been retired long ago. Some might say the same for some of our English rugby players.

Always rather baffled me as well! If a Sport has got a watch sponsorship, then they ought to wear them playing it!! Still, you can't even blame modern marketing, as this sort of thing has been around for decades.

Ennebi used to supply watches to the Italian rugby team. It was a while ago, though -

Not sure they're all that bad. Not for me all the same ... I'll get my coat.
