Appreciate it's a long shot but... My brother has had some work in his house and a sentimentally valuable light fitting got smashed.
It's an M&S fitting but we don't know the name or code, does anyone have any ideas on any websites or databases to identify or find spares for M&S lights?
I'll ask him for a pic tomorrow.
Cheers.

It's vintage, our mother bought it years ago.
We will start an auto search on eBay but not knowing the model number or name it's vague.
I was hoping there might be a back catalogue site like some car parts have so I could narrow the search.
Trouble is, your seller isn’t go to know (or care to list) the part number either. Narrow your search to obvious stuff (colour etc), and then settled in for the long haul and *lots* of irrelevance. But chances are you’ll get one eventually.
If it's M&S there's probably millions of them in circulation, so odds are in your favour.
Is it the whole fitting or just one lens/shade/pendant.
If it's the later, a good local light shop may well be able to help you out
