I will add this to the watch list.
I think about 5-6k would snag it.

I wonder how many lowballs he received? The seller seems to know what it is so I'm watching with interest it to see where it goes.

New battery / movement if required, new seals, put it on the wrist.
Edit looking photos on a larger screen, there area some areas of lume that need stabilisation / re luming, (hands are minging) this may hit the price a bit, there is a (slightly dubious) 85 with a bu99ered case for 4K but it’s been on there for a bit.
So maybe 3-4K might be a bit more realistic.
Edit2:
There is an 85 dated case back for sale for £1000 on eBay as well!

When I first saw the photo of the watch I thought the idea of stabilising the lume was a boat that had already sailed but the more I look at it, the more I can imagine it appearing OK with that done and the loose tritium floating around the dial cleared out. No idea as to value but if the right collector sees it then he's clearly going to be willing to pay a fair bit more than the current (as I write) £1,300 top bid.
Given that the seller originally included in his description "I have listed the watch as spares or repair with a starting price of £25.00 and will not take less than this ..", I rather doubt he appreciated that what he had was collectable but by now he must have cottoned on!
Pretty rare but rough.
