    Hamilton 6B-9101000 NEW ARRIVAL !!!!

    I got it !

After a second look and after all the fantastic information I received from the other thread, I decided to make an offer and it was accepted. I managed to remove the caseback which was incredibly tight and used my air blower to give it a puff over, the balance wheel moves freely, but it will not tick at all, hands move freely and crown appears to wind. I will get it away for a service but it will have to wait until I can save some pennies as my account is well and truly in overdraft !!!!!!

Have not even cleaned it but I really had to get it on a really nasty nato

    Cheers

    Simon

Congrats, that is a cool old watch. Based on "it will not tick at all" and having been a victim of it several times over the years I am guessing it has a broken mainspring, a service will fix it up.

Thanks gents for all the comments and information. I’ll hopefully get it sent away next month when some pennies reach my bank account ;-))) Have to say its a perfect size and looks brilliant on the wrist with a nato :-)))
    Cheers
