    R.I.P. David Crosby

A Dutch online newspaper mentions that David Crosby (CSNY) passed away at the age of 81.

    Very sad! Great music!

Just seen on the news, very sad. 81 years old, he did pretty well to reach that age considering his 'intake' in his younger years. RIP David.

"If I could only remember my name" is one of my favourite albums. Heavenly music and harmonies.

David Crosby and Graham Nash provided some outstanding harmonies to support David Gilmour during his 'on a beach' concert at the RAH in 2006.

Tracks are on YouTube and well worth a view.

Nice write-up of Crosby's life. With a few details I didn't know. 3 heart attacks, 8 stents, a liver transplant and diabetic for 40 yrs. That, and a heroin addiction at some time in his life. We always mention Keith Richards as a 'survivor' but Crosby came close.

And then there's this (trailer only):

Before CSNY, Crosby was one of the founder members of the Byrds too. R.I.P. David.

    Sad news!

I'm just going to put this here. In 5 mins it captures the magic he had with Graham Nash.

Phil Collins paid for the transplant. Crosby had recently sold his catalogue and complained he had a mortgage. He had been top of that game since 1969. How could he still be paying for a house. Should have owned SoCal being based there so long
