Not something I'd wear, but loving this bold new effort from Seiko -
Certain to be an opinion divider, but I love it, and as someone who moans that Seiko can be boring and predictable, I did not see that coming!

this looks an interesting release

This new omega from the back of yesterdays paper.
Ad essentially says “homage to the 2531/2541. But on mesh. With no lume pip on the bezel. And some 007 bits on the caseback that no one will be able to see when you’re wearing it.
I thought the 2531 was great. Right price, right quality, only issues were the bezel was difficult, and the helium valve was pointless, and every other businessman on the tube was wearing one.
This one’s still got the scalloped bezel and the helium valve. Hate to think what it costs though.

It’s 42mm and 14,3mm high. €9000.
Gimme the old Bond all night long…
My name was down for the new Bond 300m but I won't be pursuing interest following the recent price rise.
Tbh I won't be buying any more new Omega models unless I see pre owned bargains.
Surprised this Carrera Panda hasn’t been spoken about more.
Seems the 60th Carrera Panda took all the limelight. For me the WoS Ed is the pick of the bunch on many Panda chronographs (Tudor, Breitling)

And what’s with the cheap looking mesh with holes in it for the buckle tang? The first time I saw one of these I thought it was someone adding a cheap mesh from Amazon to check the look before ordering the proper Omega seatbelt mesh of old. Does any other brand out there beyond the £100 fashion tat do a mesh like that??
Spotted this beautiful thing with a lovely NOS Landeron hand-wind movement.

I really fancy the "Sand" colour.
Anyone know anything about the brand? Decent? Is the price a bit steep?
^^^ I like that in the Sand.
Would make a lovely holiday watch.

Fratello with Aquastar, jumping on or close to the Tiffany Blue bandwagon.
I quite like the look of it, but for me the decompression bezel that's not uni-directional suggests it's both a dive watch and not a dive watch.
36.75mm is a nice size, though. Early bird price of Euro1500 seems ok-ish.

Not sure what Seiko is doing with the KS line. One design, first 39mm with date and 6L movement, then in 37mm with a new 6R movement, no date. Now back to 39mm with date, but with a 6R!
None of which are particularly accurate or regulated, even if they were able to be, which is odd, given the sub brand’s heritage:

Another "I wouldn't wear them, but damn those are pretty!" offering - this time from Louis Erard; ChF2,222 isn't barmy either...
39mm, with a Sellita SW261-1 inside. I'd struggle to decide which colour I like the best, thou' the blue hands of the Tiffany-esque light blue would probably win...

Purely window shopping but I thought the same - though I fancy the black one.

I'd never heard of the Scottish brand Struthers but they've just released the 'Kingsley' and, my word, it's a thing to make you drool.
I'm not normally a dress watch type but I'd have this in a hearbeat.
https://www.strutherswatchmakers.co....n/the-kingsley
Yeah - agreed in some ways though only precious metal and when you see the details (you get to help design your version with the watchmakers) you're getting a 1 of 1, effectively, and the quality *looks* superb. I'd be VERY keen if I was in a money-no-object situation. Alas I'm not and never will be!
TAG Heuer very rarely attract my attention, but this latest black-dialled Autavia variant is a doozy -
Solid, applied indices, 80 hour power reserve, COSC cert, excellent legibility, bidirectional ceramic bezel - ticks a lot of boxes for me.
Two things don't: should have been Heuer branded, not TAG Heuer, and the £6,500 price! Oof!
I am liking the new Sinn releases - the Sinn U50 with the etched dial that they previously released in the U1 and they have added the T50 titanium version which looks great. The prices seem to have edged up on Sinns since I last looked, but still competitive with what a more ordinary watch would cost these days.

The T50 does look rather 'flat' in the renderings, so it will be interesting to see real-life photos to see how it looks. On paper the specs are good and personally, having owned a U1 and U50 in the past, I like the fact they've not used red on this new release. But that cost, OUCH!!
I also spotted (as I think was mentioned in the Sinn thread) that it costs more on the silicone strap than the bracelet. In the past the prices were about the same, but I'm perplexed as to how it can cost more on rubber than a Ti bracelet!
Loving the look of the T50 and it would appear to have lots of good points for me personally. I agree with the "no red" comment above and I also prefer the handset to that on the U50. 41mm is a tad above my sweet spot but that could be slightly off-set by the 4 o'clock crown. The only small negative I can see is what seems like a standard SW300 movement with only 42hrs power reserve. That makes the price seem a little steep but otherwise this looks like something that would stack up against the Pelagos 39 pretty well.... or even the original Pelagos?

Another new release just landed in my inbox, this time from Longines. Who also seem to have adjusted their pricing as this is £3,400! I would have had in mind this is a c.£2k watch if they hadn't revealed the price! Oh, and it's 43mm which means it's a chunky beast that might have looked more wearable and appealing at 40mm. Other than that, I do like the overall look and the novelty of the rotating bezel pointer.

Good point about the Tudor, though I would prefer the Sinn personally - problem is I got accustomed to much lower Sinn prices just a few years back and cannot see the justification for the steep rise in price, there is simply less watchmaking content compared with the likes of Tudor.
Nice enough watch but agree that is a lot for a longines. Or at least it is to me. Also, I am over the aged lume on new watches. In fact, I never liked it.
Perhaps not the the best use of a quarter of a million pounds, or the most stylish of fashion statements. But to be fair, it’s considerably more fun than playing with the bezel on your desk diver.
I do like the look of that Tag Heuer. I like the look of the price less so.

I really like the look of the O&W Astrochron. Ticks a lot of boxes: under 40mm, 369 subdial layout from a Valjoux 7753, decent price @ approx £2k. I’m also keen on the regatta timer minute totaliser.
But nearly 17mm thick.

Quite like the idea of a full lume Tissot PRX for £320 as a summery watch, though perhaps not on a white strap

I hope they make these rubber straps available in different of colours.
Hamilton's new Jazzmaster Chrono, which I think looks pretty good...

Another nice couple of Tag Heuers but, once again, the prices are a little on the steep side.
