    $10k??!?

You’d have to really love Yema and tourbillons.

    Madness!

It is available at Ocarat for around £115 with discount code

You can translate it to English via your browser - if that doesn't work I can order one for you

Very pretty new 103 St Sa LE variant from Sinn - 'Commerzbank' themed, about which I DGAF, but yields an interesting and attractive colour variant, IMO:

Pretty sternly priced at €3,250.00 - Sinn certainly doesn't represent the VFM they once did! Does come with a steel bracelet as well, and just 100 examples (so not an Omega LE, then!), with first pick going to the bank's customers.

One small surprise (to me) is the use of a Concepto C99001 movement - assumed Sinn used Valjoux or Sellita for these.

  16. #666
Errr, sorry EoS but that’s a minger. Unless you’re looking for a Jamaica tribute watch, in which case it’s perfect.

I’d not heard of that movement manufacturer before. Presumably an ETA clone/drop in replacement; which makes its price even more outrageous.

No need to apologise, you have every right to be as wrong as you like!

Downside is, I now fancy some of this:

Nice enough, but £1,500 seems like a ripoff to me.

Christopher Ward getting closer to something I might buy.

I’m even starting to like the logo (applied on this model).

New Citizen Altichron is quite a departure visually from previous frantically busy / near-illegible offerings - more of a Ray Mears / Promaster Tough feel to this:

Main downside is... er... size - at 47mm diameter and 18mm thick, it's a beast.

I'm not a fan of DLC, either, and sadly titanium damages too easily - albeit the hardened stuff Citizen use is far better than most in that respect.

    US$995 will be a not-unreasonable £795 in the UK.

I bought this on launch day. I absolutely love it. The dial is mesmerising and it goes from a kind of deep Kingfisher blue to a vibrant metallic green.

The quality was is so good and the new logo so subtle that I would buy another CW in a heartbeat

Cryptic new CW ad just dropped in my inbox. For a launch this week.

That’s definitely the bezel from the twelve, in bronze or I suppose possibly rose gold.

It always photographs with this kind of hue although I would say it was slightly greener in real life. I’ll see if I can capture some other changes.

I do like it when Zenith release a new watch that isn’t horrible.

Has anyone mentioned the new Citizen Promaster Tough. I think I like it but need to see it in the hand. I’m wondering if this is replacing the BN0118. Not a fan of textured dials but maybe it’s not so bad.

I see Fortis have re released the B42 Cosmonaut chronograph
This time with a nice blue dial option.
Not sure I would chip in my original but it’s nice

    Pricey though £5k

That's lovely, and certainly nicer than a lot of what £5K gets you nowadays.

I feel like every comment I make on this thread ends with

    ‘but it’s too expensive’.

Nice watch that Fortis, but crazy price. I’d rather have a Carrera glassbox, or a bb chrono, or two EZM13s.

That is stunning, about as close to the originals including the double domed acrylic crystal and cross hatched crowns. Here is a 1968 original as a comparison. If I didn't have this, I would be very interested in the Benrus.

What is a "Novonaut"? I know what a cosmonaut is, and astronaut too, but this is a made up word. TBH I like the watch but Fortis have filled their webpage with so much nonsensical claptrap, that I find myself just irritated by it. As original B-42 Cosmonauts can be had for under the £2k mark, I think this is optimistically priced.

    Japanese minimalism at its finest:

I don't actually like it, but it's strangely impressive. Would it be humanly possible to fit more information onto a watch dial? It's like they took the whole instrumentation of a Boeing 747 cockpit and crammed it into 48mm.
