Question for the spinning massive: I’ve picked up a couple of cheap toys that do a great job of keeping my hands busy but am now after a spinner that spins for longer, any recommendations? Looking at the Kinetics Asia stuff I have no idea if the difference between them (the nano looks interesting for example but is it just the size that’s different between the various models?). I’m looking for something that spins for a good while with some heft (my current spinner is a lightweight cog on a spindle).

    Happy to be guided. Thanks.

Is there a significant difference between the tungsten and the stainless? (Apart from the cost 😂)

Heavier ones do spin longer but tbh I'm not bothered about spin times as i forget way before they stop, some go one for ages

Saw that on my social media feeds. That looks an amazing piece of engineering & takes things to a whole new level.

Look forward to your thoughts on it.

As a fidget it's useless, as a desk ornament it's sensational

    A) how disappointing

    B) Thank god you are not introducing me to something else!

That bloody magnet coin is driving me crazy. When I’m home alone I find I’m using it.

My wife is now home and threatened to throw it out the window with the loud clicking!

Clover still not located. Wardrobe too shelf coming down tmrw in case it’s slipped out of a pocket.

My fear is cat dragged pouch out, thinking it was a mouse, hence it was found outside, but at some point the clover fell out. God knows. Struggling with how and why !!

Misplaced my worry stone & it’s doing my head in.

Tearing the house apart, may have slipped out of my small jean pocket getting out of a pub bench & never to be seen again.

    Arse.

Always have a backup worry stone if you’re worried about losing your worry stone.

    Will be ordering one.

Good news is that I have found it - somehow came out of my jeans and slipped in-between t-shirts in the wardrobe.

It was a mess, so am convinced that my wife hid it there to make me clean it up!

    I’ve lost it!
I knew I shouldn’t have participated on this thread.
    I came here like:
”I’ve tried fidgets! Only things I need to fidget with are my knives!”
    I’m an absolute pillock!
Bought my first quality fidget a month ago, because of this thread.
    Look at me now!

And I have 10 or more incoming!
Jesus Christ I should be placed under guardianship.

Safe to say that sliders seems to be my thing.

    Welcome to the dark side

I have 6, one of each really, but only really use two or three, the Lautie Shuffle, a spinner or two and a knuckle bone, use them all the time for work and sorting reading watching Tele but clickers and sliders are hard to use in the lounge or in an office

    Collectors will have their faves
    Users will have their faves

Personally if I could only have one would be a Lauti shuffle followed by a knuckle bone and an Ultem spinner

Btw I have put some PTFE tape in the runners on my shuffle, it creates a very nice thudded feel and reduces the noise a hell of a lot

I think that you are maybe 99% to blame for this for creating this thread.
Prepare to receive a phone call from my wife.
    FYI, she is not happy.

Well, there is a headphones and portable DAC rabbit hole tbh but fidgets cheaper and arguably more important

    Fidget things

On the basis of this crow bar wallet opening thread I have splurged on a superfrag from black cloud creations. I have always been a fidget; full of anxious energy. I am hoping this will help me settle to concentrate at my desk rather than being up and down like a yo yo!

Will post some pictures when it arrives. I partly chose black cloud as for some reason I think they’re just down the road from me in Bracknell…

I bought a fidget 'coin' from Black Cloud Creations. Very easy to deal with and although it took a couple of weeks to reach me, it was actually custom made from a spare blank he had, so is essentially a one-off. Plus they're a UK company producing high quality fidget toys at a reasonable price (compared to some of the fidgets you can spend out on!)

I have a few new pieces on the way, including a coin. A Lautie Shuffle has really helped my son study for exams

Recently I noticed one of my watches running 5 minutes fast, and it used to be a good time keeper. I used the Lepsi app to check it, and sure enough, the watch was magnetized, so I put it through my de-magnetizer. I had previously de-magnetized it a few months ago, so I was wondering how it could have become magnetized again.

Well, I have been playing a lot with my magnetic spinner coin, in my left hand, with the watch on my left wrist only a few inches away. And I may have had my wrist near the coin when the coin was on my desk.

Lepsi agrees that the coin is very magnetic. I don't have conclusive proof that the coin did magnetize my watch (and I am not willing to test it!), but it is worth being warned about the possibility.

I don't think these two hobbies like each other!

Going to shift a couple out to make way,

Tri Horizon Zirc oil, cost approx £145 , no little polish cloth , will try and find it, assume it's lost , yours for £75, can include the little black balls that are extra to go it for extra tenner

Collision mini SS cost approx £100 yours for £50

Hate selling on Facebook groups , a million messages and half of them calling you a scammer , so if these sell here I'll donate 25 quid to the fundraiser
