depending on how much you're going to pay for and unless there are reasons for this, better go for current models that will save you lots of concern for WR and accuracy
Happy New Year chaps.Had this offered but I think the bezel insert is wrong!.
Am I correct in my thinking?.I think the dial and hands are correct, but with so many aftermarket parts for Seiko....
Cheers

Bezel insert looks ok to me. Normally the tell is the lume pip and thin font on the numbers.
And thats an SKX 007 is it not? Are you quoting the movement?

£50 for an SKX007? I'd be biting his hand off. Why isn't it a good deal?
Just... Buy it.
Can I buy it if you dont?
On closer inspection the 30 on the bezel looks weird. But, Aftermarket inserts can never get the lume pip correct and it looks ok on this one. Id need better pics to be 100% happy.

Hi Paul,
The insert looks aftermarket and the bezel turning ring looks scuffed between the 35 and 50. It is difficult to tell what state the rest of the watch is in but for me, even at £50, it's not worth the bother unless you wanted it to modify or as a parts donor.

The lume pip is too big for an SKX. It looks like an aftermarket insert for a 7002 or 6309 which had the larger pip.
New genuine SKX inserts often pop up on Ebay when the owner mods their watch and they're usually around £30, so for £80 in total it's very buyable.
The only other thing that might concern me is the service history as it could be from 97, 07 or 2017. No way of knowing without looking at the movement to see if it's an A, B or C version.
