Richard Askham @ https://thewatchspotblog.com/ is your man!
A colleague of mine at work has an old Heur from the 70s/80’s which he inherited when his uncle passed away. It’s an Etanche Acier.
He knows it’s not worth much but because of the sentimental value he want to se if it can be restored. He’s tried Tag but they say they don’t have any spare parts.
Does anyone know anyone who might be able to have a look at it with a view to restoring it.
Thanks for looking

Tim Hamit of ALSAL Watches, 226 Strand, Temple, London, he's your man.
Thanks for the replies so far.
I'd also recommend Rich Askham for Heuer work but I've never heard of an Etanche Acier, is it a quartz? It's worth asking Rich first anyway, if he can't do it he may be able to point you in the direction of someone who can.
"A man of little significance"
Is it a Heuer diver with the MRP/Monnin/CWC style case?
If yes, I would also recommend Olivier

There are two others posts on servicing vintage Heuers, so collectively a pretty complete set of recommendations for servicing old Heuers.
1. Can anyone recommend where to service a vintage Heuer
2. Vintage Heuer chrono service/repair

Etanche Acier indicates that the watch is water-resistant & steel, not what model it is.
Further information is required, OP.

Jim.
This catalogue from 1982 would suggest that they did a mid size version, so I suggest it is just that. 980.019
Quartz anyhow, so shouldn't be too hard to do, but I think this series did have an odd type of bayonet fitting crown, that is pretty hard to replace or repair.
