Sad news. Still remember his fight with Griffin to this day.
Former MMA fighter Stephan Bonnar, the "American Psycho," died December 22 at the age of 45 of a presumed heart condition. The much-beloved light-heavyweight (<205 pounds) and UFC Hall of Famer has been credited (along with Forrest Griffin) with saving the UFC from bankruptcy in their historic three-round battle in the inaugural UFC "Ultimate Fighter" finals in April 2005. The bloody back-and-forth fight was one for the ages, and galvanized fans around the world as MMA followers. A fan favorite (usually!) the 6'4" Bonnar fought all the best 205-ers over his 14-year career, racking up a professional record of 17-9. He graduated from Purdue University in 2000 with a degree in Sports Medicine.
RIP, Stephan...

I watched the Griffin fight live, it was absolutely incredible.
RIP
RIP Stephan. I remember the fights also.
Me too. Great fight.
Rip. So young.
Very sorry when I heard this news.
Like others, the fight with Forest put TUF on the map.
4 years younger than me and I am sure a lot fitter.
The Bonner story is a funny one, never reached the dizzy heights and had his share of controversy but in 15 minutes he played a huge role in making MMA what it is today, the greatest sport on the planet.
RIP Stephan Bonner.
Shocking news. 45 is much too young to go. I too watched the incredible fights with Forrest.
