I’ve ordered the black on bracelet as well. I’d have preferred the green one but I thought the black looked to be the best of the latest 4 colourways
I'd have preferred the navy but the black seems the most sober. I've been back on YouTube tonight watching the original video reviews.
I still can't believe this is made by CW and isn't a MAD1. Really the CW should have been the MAD1 and the MAD1 should have been the CW.
I am actually loving that purple.
Went with the rosa. Blue reminded me of man city and wanted a splash of colour
Very tempted to order one but just like with the blue and green versions, I'm not completely sure. I just wonder if it would feel like a bit of a gimmick and whether I'd wear it regularly. I'd go for the black dial out of the current options, I think.

Ordered the purple on a bracelet yesterday as I don’t have a watch in this colour.
Having second thoughts now on the shade of purple, looks a little too bright on the photos . Has anyone seen any further pictures?

List now open to those who missed out with a June-Dec 2023 estimate for four colours
Once the missed out list has been sorted with an delivery time frame they'll go on general sale. Possibly with a long wait and I'd imagine 2024 onwards.
From the email they sent it looks like once they have the £1k deposits in they'll figure out how many they're making.
From the interest shown on a few other forums too looks like CW will be selling quite a few. I was interested to see if the demand would hold for non limited models as its a much higher price point than most CWs.
Love the purple, and I suspect longer-term it'll end-up the rarest option, so be interested to see if these become generally available as I'm not on the wait list.
These are basically bargain Armin Strom watches that happen to have CW branding - all good from where I'm sat.

I think it offers superb VFM.
Production may escalate then? So it's not going to be a limited edition or is the total production of this series of Bel Canto's going to be a limited edition? It's all a bit confusing. It deserves to be a limited edition IMHO. It's an interesting series.

There are definitely unanswered questions and it should be a limited edition but lets see what happens.

The overall details so far are:
Blue LE of 300 - sold out.
Green LE of 300 - sold out.
Four further colours were made available to those on the waitlist. Deposits taken and customers likely to receive their watch by the end of 2023. Not limited editions.
Same four colours will be available for order by anyone from 19 January. No idea of payment requirements or expected date of delivery.

More than one has already sold for over £6k on eBay.
It feels like this is the new hype watch. Nowhere near moonswatch territory but come on: the case is quite ugly for CW, the bracelet is a bin parts special, the complication is less useful than a printed bezel and not really on a par with a repeater (which I assume is what people like to associated with).
It’s a lovely looking dial (particularly the blue) and it’s amazing to see a sonnerie type complication in a watch from a relatively young, relatively small brand but by the end of the year everyone will be saying: remember how everyone got over-excited about that CW? What was that about?
CW are being smart. I suspect they thought this would be a bit of a niche release which would only sell to a few but they’re now putting out as many as they can whilst the iron is hot.
Anyone who pays 6k for one is going to get burnt.

Personally I find the complication rather pointless - I'll wait till they figure out how to do a proper hour chimer which should be achieveable.
Let’s wait and see. I don’t believe everyone will be saying this, as it isn’t something ‘they’ve’ been saying a year after any of the big CW releases and there have been some pretty big releases.
I was following this one on ebay, it sold for a hefty mark up. I'm sure prices will come down once the new colours land with customers later this year but the limited blue and green editions will be going for well over list until then I think.

We will work hard to improve this date but as the Bel Canto is a watch of complexity and finesse, our priority, as you would expect, will always be quality of execution rather than speed.

I need to go back onto their website on Thursday after 3pm to look at the configuration options.
I’ve paid extra for the bracelet but don’t know if this comes instead of the strap or in addition to the strap.
