Recommendation required - electrician west dorset

Anyone know a good sparky (or is anyone one) in the Bridport area? I'm going to need a property inspection and probably some renovation/replacement, it looks like a rats nest currently.

Wouldn't ever dare. Heard some real horror stories from people using sites like that. Not worth the risk.

I have used checkatrade lots of times and always had good honest tradespeople. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Guy at work had a cowboy from it. Had loads of 5 star ratings. Total cowboy.

Told the workman to call it quits and got someone else in so left a 1 star review.

So no direct experience then.

It is a numbers game and checkatrade will weed out the vast majority of cowboys

Then chose carefully by chasing references.

Play the game right and you will not have a problem.

That's fine but I'll never have direct experience of any of those types of sites. Personal recommendations only.
