Long story short.
Mrs SJ found on the internet a piece from Stravinsky with a very specific cast that she would like to record.
From what I see the files are free from rights on the French National Library but the platforms it offers (deezer and Amazon) require their premium music subscription to listen to them, and we have neither.
Is there a way to play it and record it simultaneously without too much loss, or would someone be able to record it on a memory stick in an easy to read format (mp3?) please?

The free Audacity software (available for most platforms) allows you to record the audio without any loss. It can then be exported in the format of your choice
There's some setting you need to use to ensure you are capturing the unsullied digital data stream, but I can't recall where it is. I'll have a look later.
I believe provided you have prime you should now be able to listen to all of there catalogue there is no more paywall that they hide behind. The catch on this though is if there is more than one track in the list they will be played in random.
I have a Deezer account, can sort this out if you don't have a solution already. To confirm, this one:

Great that you've got it sorted. 😊
Audacity is pretty useful considering that it's free. It can record an incoming file (e.g. streaming audio), but does require a bit of a workaround (at least on Windows). If that sort of thing may be of interest to you, instructions are at:
