Just watched the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider unveiling live

    Interesting... literally an updated B-2.

    I enjoyed the B-52, B-1, B-2 flyby. :-)

You should be able to watch a replay of the ceremony here: https://www.northropgrumman.com/what...r/b-21-raider/
(Ignore the ironically outdated "If you are experiencing playback problems, please update your Flash player plugin" message!)

On one hand you have this lovechild between an Area 51 UFO x B52 bomber, on the other hand there's the (proven) rickety scrapheap of the Russian army. I would think that the Kremlin offices are worried.

Unbelievable piece of engineering. And when I see this shape, I want to believe that there's really something in the hangers of Area 51.

Also on YT. Action around 33:00'

Amazing multi-role stealth aircraft with a raft of classified mission delivery tech. As the introducing General said, military aircraft have come a long way from WW1 ordnance delivery where bombs were tossed overboard by hand from an open cockpit!

The only thing missing is the guy in the 60’s flight suit walking out and saying “hello boys I’m back”…
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Doolittle's original Raiders bombed Tokyo and (some...) managed to reach China. Is there a reference in this?

I did read something that indicated the 'Raider' reference was indeed a nod to the original raiders.
