British Pathé video 1968 'Vive Torbay'

I was searching YT for videos of the Ford Taunus/Ford Cortina (other thread) when I stumbled upon this. I guess that some of this parish are interested to have a look back in time. (The lady wearing the bikini is clickbait).

We had a Landcrab like the one shown in the Vid. Ours was British Racing Green. We had a guy coming in the workshop for years with a Landcrab MKI (Called 'Balanza' here). When you have a chance, try to sit in one. You'll be amazed how much space there is inside!

Here's another one that came up in my YT list (obviously, after the yesterday's one).

I was a teacher apprentice in the 70s and stayed in London for approximately 5 months. Even I can remember some of the scenes / items shown in this video!

And it brings back an old question: why were some of the London busses green and not red?

My recollection is that Green Line was an incorporated service of London Transport which served the rural routes; I remember them on the Brighton Road in Surrey, south of Coulsdon.
But this explains in greater detail:

The old Green line, remember it well.

I saw that in a cinema years ago; I think it was on the same bill as Superman II. The audience started laughing from the moment he claimed that the view took his breath away. Fantastic to see it again, thanks!
