I thought they were near identical to MHD's early watches - he was the guy who designed the Morgan Aero and then did some cheap'ish £300-£500 minimalist watches. The Bamford watch does nothing for me and the design link with Defender/LR is tenuous other than the design team / McGovern casting an eye over it I'd say.
