    Canterbury watchmaker

I need to get the battery changed on my Grand Seiko and would really like to keep the 100m water resistance.
    Anyone has a recommendation please?

Sorry don’t know of anyone locally - do mine myself

I had mine done 5 weeks ago but I sent it back to Seiko UK as I also wanted it regulating.
It came back in a nice service pouch with the pressure test print out. It cost a wopping £90 though!

Thank you. Did you send it yourself or did you ask Goldsmiths to do it please?
Mine doesn’t need regulation (-0.5s in 151 days).

Yes Goldsmiths does GS but I try not to do Goldsmiths if I can have a local shop instead.
As to changing myself I want to keep the 100m water resistance as I regularly forget to take it off, whether at the pool or in the shower.

I did it myself f ollowing the instructions on their website. This was my second battery change since I acquired the watch and it had lost about 7s a month.
So far, its bang on now!
