I must admit this thread keeps reminding me of a meme about men’s Facebook profile pictures, 80% are them are pictures of the guy holding a huge fish or an ugly baby 🤣 As you look at random profile pictures now you won’t fail to notice loads of both. 🤣🤣 (no reference to anyone on here is implied or intended in any way just in case anyone thinks it was)
I occasionally take a short rod when I'm sea kayaking and pull out a couple of mackerel when they shoal closer to land. Stick your finger in their mouth, thumb on the top of their head and twist sharply. Fast painless and dinner. Personally I just use heavier line so I don't.Originally Posted by Franky Four Fingers

I see a picture of a fish fulfilling his lifelong ambition to get a better view of life above his sky. He is in wonderment that trees are straight and vertical not distorted by refraction. He feels the warmth of the sun without having to expend energy to break the surface, breathes easy, he’s able to expel the gas in his swim glands and replenish with fresh air without fear of drowning.
He’s comforted that unlike his relative billy big mouth bass he is not a fixed to a board with a battery up his ass and forced to sing ‘don’t worry, be happy’.
That’s how I see it.
