Yup, I bought one of these Chinese clones years ago and it's given me very good service. I paid a similar price.
I'd love to buy one of the Bergeon models but I regret to say that I doubt it would be 12 times better.
Only thing I've discovered from practice is that it is better to just use the two matching 'horizontal' pegs and ignore the 'vertical' peg. This actually reduces slippages and gives me more control over case back opening and closing.
I'd like to think that the Bergeon version had tighter tolerances and thus made the third peg more useable but I might be disappointed. It doesn't matter though -- with practice I achieve good results with my clone.
