    Movado Super sub sea revival

This is one of the nicest renditions I have seen lately. Would have liked the snake like hour totaliser hand but it totally hits the mark for me!
It also fills nicely the gap of a zenith de Luca first version!
A bit on the reach side on price unfortunately.

One of my favourites, shame they decided to bloat it to 43mm

Agreed, one of the nicest things I have seen for a while.
I see there is a white dialled version too, with blue bezel and blue sub-dials.
However, I have to say that these days there are a lot more chronos being released that have a sense of vintage style and elegance. Sinn's latest, for instance, the 103 St Classic C.
And given that Movado are not using the Zenith movements any more, perhaps thier price is a little interesting.

    Indeed, so nearly perfect.

That is nice, shame it’s now larger than the original. One of the joys of a vintage chronograph is the modest size
I would not mind seeing one in the metal

My reaction to most reissues have been the same… initial excitement followed by the disappointment when I scroll down to case diameter. Shame though it’s a good looking one.

    This +1.

I never cared much for the Valjoux 77xx movements (reliable as they are); I like the Sellita iterations even less. It would be nice to see some attention to the mechanicals that are somewhat commensurate with the new-old designs and the asking prices.
