Honda S2000, slow motorway cruise at 60 will see 33mpg, B roads 18mpg(optimistically) on track 10mpg but smiles per mile huge. I try not to calculate fuel usage it’s bad enough when the cashier at fuel stops check the spend cost.
XC 90 T5 Powerpulse, 2.0D Diesel. A woeful 28mpg. it's been the most variance between manufacturers figures versus real world that I've ever had to date. Love the car though.

2010 VW Tiguan 2.0tdi SE bluemotion with 84k on the clock. Lots of motorway miles doing gigs up and down the UK but also lots of short run, start stop trips to private pupils. I don't spare the horses, particularly on the way home from gigs. Computer indicates 53.1mpg but using previous 'brim to brim' calculations I'd say that's optimistic and that real mpg might be closer to 49mpg.
I miss my 1.6 Honda Civic Diesel which gave an overall average of 63 MPG. I replaced it earlier in the year with a Honda HR-V 1.5 petrol and I am getting around 45 mpg. Also the Diesel was zero tax.
Mk8 Golf 1.5 eTSi DSG - the 150bhp model.
60 mpg on motorway runs at the legal limit.
50 mpg on A/B roads being reasonably sensible.
Very happy with that given it’s petrol, and nippy when I need it to be.
Pete
My previous rx400h average 28mpg. Best was 42.
Current e350d convertible about 35 mpg but I don’t really spare the horses. Much more on a motorway bimble.
Wife’s Hyundai Tucson PHEV. 85mpg on a mix of town and fast a roads. Only had it a month though.
The 2 that stick with me are ....
2008 Audi A6 2.0TDi - 48mpg (mostly M'way trips at legal limit or fast A roads).
2006 BMW 335d - 48mpg (mostly M'way trips at legal limit or fast A roads).
Given that the 335d and A6 engines were from a similar era and that the 335d had almost twice the power and torque - I was surprised how poor the A6's MPG was in comparison.
I get 20-25mpg from my Boxster, but that is city driving or spirited country roads driving. My daily is X3 30e, which has a 42mpg long term mpg, with empty battery on highway speeds it only gets 25mpg.
BMW 230 cabrio 37mpg & BMW 330 touring 47mpg Very odd given both have same size petrol engine. Although the 330 is noticeably quicker to respond so maybe a more advanced evolution (it is 3 years younger)

My Honda CRV hybrid petrol averages 47.2 in mixed, though mainly motorway, driving.

Just completed 900 mile trip Girona/Sussex, M5 F90 28.3 MPG - 75/85mph
Very content with that
I give you the Mercedes SLK250 @ average 61.4mpg! Tank range is between 800-850 miles from full.
At this point we’re doing around 70mph @1600rpm. (And no, I didn’t take the phonepic as the driver, madam did as the passenger. I was so impressed with the mpg, I needed some evidence!)

VW ID.3 Pro Performance: 3.2 kWh/mi over the last 3,700 miles. I'm a bit heavy footed, thankfully a reasonable chunk of the electrons come for free from my house solar.
Back when I did drive something that burnt stuff, I had a 2008 BMW 320d that'd usually return 44.8 mpg no matter how hard I drove it, and could get 50-52 mpg on long runs on the continent. Never could manage better than about 47-48 in the UK.
Posted a few years ago on Instagram. Typically I average about 11mpg. And I've had it as low at 8 on a run.
And the car in its natural stomping ground.

VW golf R, short commute weekdays, longer run at weekends, around 26-33mpg, avg 30mpg generally.
I'm getting about 20 to the gallon in my old Jag xtype (2.1, 4wd, petrol, v6). I do have a heavy foot to be honest. I keep thinking about swapping for something economical but I keep coming back to buying a Mustang.
My mate is driving a TVR Tuscan which averages 9 mpg so life ain't all that bad.
2019 Golf GTI DSG. 48mpg on a 140mile motorway (70 mile each way) in eco mode. 35mpg when having a play on the twisty roads.

That’s the problem with the vtec engines… you never want to be out of the power band! At one point I had an s2000 and integra type r - fantastic cars that thrived on abuse
My current RS6 (4ltr v8 twin turbo)does 29mpg cruising on long motorway run, around 14mpg around town and on track I’ve read it’s as low as 2mpg :/
Mondeo estate 2015 1.5 turbo diesel with so far 97500 miles, I've averaged 51.8mpg over the last 2 years

Never calculated the difference between roof up v roof down figures, going by the breeze whizzing about the cabin it must have some effect, the road tax is expensive too, works out at over £10 a week, I measure it in that method as it doesn’t feel so bad, about the cost of 20 ciggies or a newspaper every day.
I don't monitor MPG closely - I reckon the Exige does high 20's when I'm driving fairly sensibly & on a decent run. It's circa 8 on track.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Audi Q3 1.5 TFSI manual, 3.000 miles since new mix of town & motorway, averaging 38.6 mpg. Bit disappointing - though Mrs H does like her high revs
My Range Rover Sport P400e plug in hybrid frequently manages 100-150mpg when I am doing mostly local journeys.
My Aston Vanquish, not so good... but surprisingly can do high twenties on a motorway run.
So clever my foot fell off.
Apparently electric vehicles are now in the 44mpg range equivalent with the cost of electricity, not sure how that is worked out but I guess it’s an average.
They are saving the planet whilst moving which is the real benefit but that is another topic all together..
4 year old focus 1.0L Ecoboost. 24k on the clock. Daily commute motorway and B road trying to stay around 55mph.
Last tank was 65mpg, best I’ve had was 72mpg in the summer.
2019 Volvo XC60 T5 petrol with polestar software. 34mpg.
2015 Kawasaki 1400GTR 49-55mpg.
Depending on grade of fuel.
The worst MPG I've recorded - the problem with Sunday London driving plus road closures and flooding. A complete waste of time...the one time I didn't bother to check Maps for reported issues.
2017 BMW M240i - easily 30+ mpg, mixed of motorway and back road commute. If driven hard drops to 10-15
M140i - mostly motorways to / from London with the occasional blart in the Cotswolds
Which is remarkable for 340bhp 6 cylinder petrol engine
IMHO

The e46 m3 is worse than our rs6, quite surprising but I do like some fun in the m3
