    New Marloe Sceptre

I think this look's really nice, especially the Blue one.

    Pretty good price as well.

It does look good. It will be well built based on my Atlantic.

I love the brand and of course, it's a British brand.

I've ordered a Sceptre 'Commander' which is the blue dial. My first of the brand, and I'm quite excited to receive the delivery next week.

I'm fairly interested in that one myself, let us know what you think of it when it arrives please.

For my tastes that's the best-looking watch Marloe have done to date - and I could live with pretty much any of them.

'October' for me - tho' probably on tan canvas...

A little big for me but I like the design. Owned a Coniston Vulcan and keep meaning to search out a white version. With some of the price rises we have seen on other brands I think (like Eddie's offerings) they still represent very good value.

Very distinctive. I like it. 40mm would have been better but not a deal breaker.

Another reason why this is place is so good, getting pointers to watches I know nothing about! And these I like, especially the blue dialled one & a good size at 42mm ..

The October looks great - the dial has periscope markings? Not sure what the +s are on the others.

I hadn't looked closely at the others - but yes, you're right only 'October' has the periscope pattern - daft omission imho, as I rather like it.

I like that, shame about the size, I think it would be too big lug to lug for my skinny wrist but the design and the hands especially are great.

Marlow & orange screams furniture manufacture to me. Nice case shape but 'meh' hands. Competitive price though for a microbrand, looks nicely finished.

Nice enough. Reminds me of the Obris Morgan Branco I had a few years ago.

I'd promised to post up photos once it arrived but it's been a crazy week.

This is my first experience of the brand, and I'm really impressed. The packaging, personal touches, and quality are well past the price point for me.

I opted for some rubber straps, firstly the classic navy that appeared in marketing photos, but also a red strap. It's a really striking combo and will be great in the summer time. I may get an additional canvas strap, as that also looks great.

The watch wasn't hugely easy to photograph. The flash bringing out the AR coating so please ignore the blue cast on the crystal.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this and I'll be keeping an eye on future releases!

Really liking the contrasting look with the red rubber

Sorry for being a little late. Watch held up due to some custom issues.
    Finally have it.
    Quite pleased with it.

I don’t do microbrands, and I don’t need another watch, yet these look absolutely fantastic.

Reminds me a bit of Schofield, but without the ludicrous price tag. Trying to resist, but may fail.

    They look great!

Perhaps a nod to Sinn with the bezel profile, but otherwise - they look like they have found a new look (to me, at least)

Those are good looking watches, particularly the October. Unfortunately (or not for my bank balance) a tad too big for me.

48mm I think, there's a little drawing with the dimensions further down the product page.

You are right, I miss the drawing.

    Thank you.

Well I would have bought one...

Just tried to order the Sceptre (white dial) using a credit card. Credit card company say it's gone through, but Marloe's online merchant page saying declined. Half an hour of calls back and forth to both Marloe and the CC company to no avail, other than "maybe put it though again" or "give us a call in two weeks if the payment goes though". Far to much faff for a £350 watch to be honest.

Is this not a security issue with your CC?

    Most likely.

Well I wasked to put a security code in, which I did, and then got a notification from the CC company that the payment was confirmed. On the Marloe page though, it said "not authorised". Phoned Marlow who told me to ring Amex. Phoned Amex who told me to phone Marloe. Phoned Marloe again who said definitely nothing to do with them. Phoned Amex who said the payment definitely confirmed and it's showing in my transaction history and all I could do if I didn't receive the goods was raise a payment query in two weeks.

Hope it's okay to share, but there's a fanpage on Facebook called Marloe Watch Company Fans with lots of photos and experiences of owners - worth a look if you're interested in the brand. Very friendly, helpful members!

Received an email promoting a new Marloe Coniston Auto in Trackday colours. Anyone buying this absolutely has to buy a spare nato as it matches so perfectly.

Judging by the amount of pictures of this combo I've seen I think it's been a very popular watch for them!
