    Trans-Global PRS-54 live on timefactors.com

I see that the Smiths Trans-Global PRS-54 (with Black, Cream, Aventurine, Salmon, Ice Blue and Royal Blue options) is live on timefactors.com.

[ Later: By "live" I mean that they are listed. They won't go on sale until 6th November. ]

    https://www.timefactors.com/collecti...-global-prs-55

    They look good!

    Previous thread here: https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...ypes-received/

P.S. They all look good but the Ice Blue version looks better in the photos than in the render in my opinion.

Very elegant. The cream dial for me.

I'd be tempted if I could be bothered to take part in the Sunday shoot out, but I can't so I won't. Shame.

Didn't much like the look of them from the renders but the versions with the paler dial colours look stunning in the photos. Would have preferred 36mm but nonetheless, I will have a go on 6/11.

I am glad I am not in this race because if I had to pick I wouldn't know what to pick. They are all so beautiful in a different way. I am surprised that the aventurine is the same price as the others.

I believe I got an Ice Blue (and some straps for the Everest) although it's only certain when I get another email...or something like that right?

I really couldn't decide which one I liked best, plumped for the Ice Blue as I have no watches with that colour dial - really looking forward to it now!

That looks great, and that dial on croc is exactly the combo I’d want.

    Does it wear big?

Still with plastic on. And needs sizing. But very happy I went with my original choice of salmon dial.

I've other 38mm watches, to me this feels more like 40mm.
My mistake, I've been comparing it to a 36mm Navigator, the Transglobal is as cool as mustard

Very nice piece, it’s for the first time in years I’m really loving a watch, (ice blue or black for me).

Looks great on the croc strap.

    Very nice!

All the dial colours no doubt have their admirers - it would be interesting to know how many of each dial option were sold on Sunday ...

They all look really great, but to my eyes anyway, look like there wear bigger that the 38mm case side suggests...

Last night I put it alongside a 38mm Squale and they are indeed the same size,

The salmon dial looks amazing, this would have been my second choice after the cream dial version. A great fit as well, what size wrist are you if you don't mind me asking ?

Thanks. I’ve been hankering for a salmon dial for a while & this hits the spot.

    Wrist size is about 7.25”

Sized up properly and out and about this afternoon. Really really happy with it, colour is just great.

Only thing, and it's my bete noire based on my weedy wrists - it's an ok size but does wear larger than 38mm. I've a Seiko diver which, with shorter lugs and bezel wears the same as this. Like others, for me this would be even better in 36mm but this is still great.

I'll form a more coherent and in depth opinion (rather than just saying it's fantastic) once I've worn out a few months but once again, a great Smiths and great service Eddie!

In the indoor light, the dial changes from salmon to a copper finish.

Is there any consensus on which dial colors wear larger than 38mm?

    Got an Aventurine today.

Although the shop was open for over 30 mins, the Aventurines sold out in about 3 mins.

I await the delivery with antici....pation.

  43. #43
Aventurine was out of stock in under 80 sec for me… Autofill skills were rusty.

Fingers crossed there are some more for a future shop opening date.
