    Serica 8315 GMT

New release from Serica, a GMT version of their 5303 model, looking pretty good I have to say.

I like it apart from the insert. I would prefer all black or black and silver.

The placement of those indices would drive me nuts. Lovely otherwise.

Quite impressive that they've kept a pretty slim case profile with the GMT just 0.1mm thicker than the regular 5303 - take note Tudor : )

Regarding the indices, interesting they decided to make them float on the dial this time rather than connect them to the minute track like the 5303. I think I preferred the 5303 execution but wouldn't be put off by the GMT layout.

This popped up on my feed recently, looks pretty impressive...I have taken quite an interest Serica recently and may possibly add one to my collection at some point soon.

Very tempting. Could have done without the text on the bezel, but otherwise it all works for me. I love that ball gmt hand a lot more than I probably should.

Why on earth have they engraved Ante Meridiem and Post Meridiem right across Meridiem and Merinoctem?
AM and PM run from 12 to 12, not 6 to 6.
Very silly, and totally needless ruining of a decent looking watch, as the colouring clearly indicates day/night (which is not the same as AM/PM).

My thoughts too, I said as much too on their FB page but didn't get a response.
