TTC - that’s a great collection. I totally get where you are coming from - the endless cycle of buying and selling eventually feels more like a chore than a hobby. Enjoy that collection, as others have said, avoid the sales section and as someone wisely said to me once, try not to overthink it all.

I like them all and I like your thinking. I always think simple is best.

Well that didn’t last long David. Two weeks and I see another watch has slipped into your perfect three watch collection

Hi Liam - the Everest was at a price that would have been insane to refuse. I haven't sold anything to pay for it though so the flipping cycle is still broken.

On that basis - my flipping days are over too. I haven’t sold anything since last year! But I think my watch collecting days may not be over

Good luck with your abstinence - one day at a time.

If you start buying again it is only a matter of time before you flip again.

You made a good start but you are beginning to weaken.

So no more buying. A normal person probably buys a watch once in every 5 years, so that should be your next target. No more buying, no matter what, until October 2027.

I’d argue a normal person only buys a watch when the last one breaks!

OK so the new target only buy when the last one breaks - easy peasy.

Dropping onto a concrete floor usually does the trick. Failing that a few hammer blows should finish it off.

I like these - the blurb on the Hamilton site suggests that it can come with a no date option? I can't seem to find it online - did you come across one when doing your research? Thanks.

I've never seen a Khaki Field Auto without a date however what's known as the Khaki Mechanical doesn't have one I believe.

    Bip, bip, bip, bip, bip…

    What’s that you say flipper

You feel the need to sell another watch

As long as it’s a Seiko I don’t think anyone will notice
