    What's your point? Why is a 2018 Sub £13k?

Because dealers will list stock at the price they would be delighted to get?

    Or am I missing something?

Well it’s indicating 13.50 and the date is half way through changing, I am guessing at best broken at worst fake.

Oops, serves me right for skimming the ad! Maybe it's a rare 2-am date changeover - like a spider dial - and therefore more valuable to collectors?

The date not changing over at midnight would also be a red flag in my book !

Thanks for the thoughts. It just seems so strange that a reputable and respected dealer would publish such a photo. It makes me wonder how it slipped through the net.

It's a lazy photo/sale. Clearly just a 'surf the market' situation.

Set the time to any value
turn date until just hanging at change-over
push the crown in, and screw down

The date will prob be left hanging half way?

The other photo's don't inspire either. Makes my efforts at watch photos look great!

ETA 7750-based watches can sometimes have this damaged datewheel. But I've never seen that being damaged on any Rolex during the 20 years. And I've owned 15 of them.

Sure it's probably possible to get it set that way but it's really weird to put it so to the sales pictures.

The marks on the bezel don’t look like an unworn watch.
