Beautiful watch! Love that blue dial!
If this has been done before please forgive me. I am starting a thread for appreciation of watches with dials less than 36mm in diameter.
I’ll kick this off with my air-king-date from 1978. Owned from new by my Dad and now by me. Complete set with all service papers. I don’t wear it so much as it has no quick set date and I don’t want to strain the winding stem. But it was near the current date so have been wearing it for a couple of days now. Runs maybe +4sec/day fast which is not bad for this vintage watch. My father wore it 24x7 through many an experience (good and bad). I had it serviced a few years ago where they did an on-site including a sympathetic polish and a new crystal. The dial / hands remain original. Lovely little thing - but hard as nails. Anti-magnetic according to the blurb - my dad used to work in laboratory conditions this would have been useful

Beautiful watch! Love that blue dial!
My Patek 3919,33mm I think.
I have recently had my Omega Constellation Manhattan serviced (no polishing) and it's 34mm dia and it looks fine. I think watch size is something that only saddoe WISs worry about. If you walk down any street you will see hundreds of men wearing smaller and slimmer watches than the saucers most of us lot wear.
Case diameter of 35mm. Absolutely fine after a day or two’s wear on my seven inch wrist, although it’s a bit of a shock straight after my 45mm Pan Europ!

Rolex Date 1500 - my first high quality watch which I acquired 26 years ago and still have. Comes in at 34mm but wears bigger imo.

Wears more like a 36mm, to me anyway. But 35mm.
Most of my collection meet this criteria, mostly vintage Omegas.
Here's a few:
1967 Pie-pan Constellation 168.010 with original black dial, genuine Omega replacement bracelet with correct 19mm end pieces. Diameter is 35mm.
1970 Omega Geneve hand-wound, approx. 34mm.
1968 9ct Seamaster DeVille, approx. 34-35mm, on a generic 9ct bracelet.
Early 70s Geneve, approx. 36mm
Very nice watch indeed!

These are my two, both 35mm. Neither wear at all small, as they are all dial.
IWC Cal 89 from the early 1950s, and a Nomos Tangente
The IWC was worn for my wedding, so SWMBO has forbidden me from ever selling it. The Nomos is lovely, but whether I will keep it when my 40mm Dornblüth arrives remains to be seen.

I have a couple, firstly my Tudor Royal which is about 32mm:
and secondly my Oris Chronometer which is around 35mm
My ideal watch size is 39-40mm, and for a long time my smaller watches got little wrist time, however I am beginning to re-appreciate (if that is actually a word) these smaller watches, 'though I still struggle with the Tudor @ 32mm.

Some lovely watches on here and that omega really is a stunner.
Does anyone here have the 36mm longines VHP? Marketed as a women's watch, presumably due size, but would be interested in picking one up for myself
Just about to flip this - lovely little 35mm 1990’s nostalgia!
Was for my Son. I love it, wore it yesterday all day, but my hands are just too big - makes these smaller watches look odd.

And this just arrived today.
35.9mm excluding pushers:

Several 36's on here, including that Nivada. I don't have a watch to contribute, mine are all 39+, I've never been drawn to smaller (maybe more fool me). But, I must say, that Omega looks lovely ...
Another one I haven't worn for a while

My 3919 is my favourite
But the Polerouter is next
Pitch3110's IWC and Tetley's Omega Quartz constellation are lovely.
I've a few at 36mm but this Tag Heuer CS3110 is my favourite.
Bristol GTG / Redbar organiser
All 36mm and under.
Edited to add: oops, didn’’t read carefully. Of the ones above, only the OP34 is under 36. And this one:

What a smashing thread. I have a treat in store for you when my much-missed little Credor gets back from Japan :)
I have a fair few super compressors which are 36.5mm so the dials are certainly quite a bit smaller.
However, these are the only watches I have where the cases are 36mm or less:
Omega LL6590-1 (34mm)
O&W (model not known) (36mm)
2 pretty small ones.
Cartier Santos Ronde (33mm):
Vacheron Constantin “Tank” style tiger’s eye (23mm x 29mm):
Perfect size for an elegant dress watch/chronograph. I find modern equivalents (slim bezel, all dial) to be dinner plate’esque on the wrist and quite the opposite of elegant. Some of mine, currently…
36mm.
Love the Seamaster, indeed many lovely watches here.
