A Regency c.1810 chiffonier in mahogany that I inherited from my parents. Also my cottage is circa 1750.

While looking for a container to mix up some paint I dragged out a Tupperware container and She said "don't use that I've had it over 40 years". Pyrex and Tupperware seems to last forever, microwave proof before there were microwave ovens lol.

I have a megalodon tooth that I use as a paperweight.
Its 24 million years old.

I have an ammonite that is likely 200m yo. Used to be a paperweight, but I dont have alot of paper now, so it sits on shelf looking cool.

1995 Tag Heuer F1, bought for £195 with first wage after graduating;
1983 Hitachi hi-fi, bought for my birthday and still going;
1996 Sony es hi-fi, still used daily;
1994 Woolrich jumper… still fit in it (just)

All our furniture is probably minimum 20 years old

Prefer possessions with a story attached to them.

I think its a 2013 macbook, hasnt been updated in a year or two, but still does wnt is needed and lets the spawn watch mindless youtube videos on it.

Had a quick look and my old Sony CDP XA50ES CD player in champagne which I bought circa 1999 and still being used today. This thing is built like a tank, the build quality as per ES Sony's of the period were probably the best coming in at the price point, so no surprise its lasted so long. Coming in at around 15kg's so it was no shrinking violet either.

I should really recap it and/or upgrade the clock inside but it still works, in fact, I'd be grateful to know if anyone knows of a reputable upgrader for vintage Hi Fi items.

The beam holding the upstairs of my house in France up is over 500 years old. Most of my other stuffis quite new. Oh, and my C90 Cub is 33 years old and pulls like a very slow train!

User my grandfather's tenon gauge last week, which must be a minumum of 70 years old. I still have a quite a few of my fathers tools that were his fathers. They really made wood, steel and brass stuff to last back then.

My house was built in 1986 the original kitchen fridge no resides in the garage. Still working just fine . I have a 2011 MacBook Pro. Still running fine, but I’ve updated the drive to SSD and doubled the ram.
Still have a few tools made by me as an apprentice in 1966. The look better then me and will still be around after I’m not.

A Brass key ring with some rude wording on it, I've had it for over 40 year's and use it every day, I will keep it until I move on. It's nothing sentimental really but I've had it so long I can't part with it.

Bought my Ray Ban aviators in Spain 1980. Still use them regularly. Never was much for following fashion, it all comes around again.

Spoke too soon. I drive a landtrain as a volunteer at a local hall. Managed to drop my Ray Bans off the train and run over them. Think they are recoverable (will need new lenses) but hopefully can get them fixed. Bugger

We went shopping today and I noticed our sainsbury's re-useable bags are looking a bit faded and shagged out. We reckon they must be around 10 year old and at least 7-800 re-uses as we shop in Aldi as well for the last 5 years.
