Quit My Job To Study Horology At University

So I had this crazy idea the other day and quit my job and enrolled at Birmingham University of Jewellery and Horology
With the help of some references , on a full time 3 year course.
I'm the oldest guy on the course by some 20 years 
There are only 12 of us on the course fingers crossed we all get to finish it I'll let you know how it goes in 3 years time

Good luck Bazza, I know the feeling of being the oldest in the class. Your life experience will be highly valued, and you'll thrive doing something you are truly passionate about.

Wow Bazza. That’s a big step. Best of luck. Would be good to get a Warwickshire get together organised as I think there’s a few of us now

What a career change. Best of luck to you bazza, you definitely have the enthusiasm.

I bumped into a guy in Liverpool St recently who did the same degree and is a watchmaker at Richemont (placement year I think). Apparently they're crying out for watchmakers all over and there were only something like 8 or 12 on his course.

Congratulations...I'd love to do something similar, but poor eyesight and unsteady hands ruled it out!

    How's fresher's week going?

I’ve always admired those who have the courage to follow their ambitions. Very easy to just stay in a boring job because that is the easier thing to do.

    Hope it goes well.
